Conference Series Formats That Deliver the Right Level of Insights
The format of our events provide an opportunity to learn, share and network. We bring a rich forum for education, exploring solutions, and dialoging with industry experts, pioneering communities, innovative solution providers and more:

In-Depth Policy Discussions.  Our interactive program on the first day focuses on policy and planning issues to offer insight into approaches that are working and challenges to be overcome.  The discussions are lively and engage the audience—no talking head panels here.  The emphasis is always on new ideas, lessons learned, and how to move to action.  No cheerleading here; the advice shared is both progressive and practical.

Real on the Ground Project Information. The project-oriented workshop on the second day is an excellent opportunity to be exposed to new and innovative technologies in real operating distributed generation projects, as well as community-wide efficiency programs.  Designing, building, financing, owning and operating generation will all be covered, along with smart grids, transportation energy, and other issues from a municipal perspective.

State-of-the-Art Solution Providers. For those municipalities with new projects or ones already underway, our selection of exhibiting vendors provide innovative technologies and serve as partners to accelerate the application of energy efficiency and renewable energy.

One-On-One Meetings for Active Projects.  The innovative program also sets aside a whole day for optional one-on-one meeting opportunities between qualified attendees and experts to discuss their particular projects more in-depth.

Our Conference Chair, P.S. Reilly, has been focused on these topics for more than a decade, and has aided some of the most pioneering communities and utilities across North America in addressing these emerging opportunities. The Community Energy Roadmap brings together her broad network and their collective expertise for your benefit.

From our Recent Fall Financial Summit with mid-sized Mayors in Washington:

“Thank you for hosting the Mayor’s Financial Summit last week in Seattle. I especially appreciate how well informed you are in medium size city affairs. You kept the meeting lively and on schedule and summarized very succinctly the break-out session comments of the group off the cuff. A talent that is rare, indeed, in public speaking.”
—Jim Slowik, Mayor of Mercer Island, Washington
