The program will feature communities, large energy users, energy/energy efficiency solution providers and other experts addressing one or more of the following:
Policies & Programs: Incentives, regulations and other initiatives that encourage energy optimization decisions--including both those policies implemented and in the discussion stages. Can include policies at a corporate, local and county government, state or federal level.
Planning: Assessment, analysis, planning processes and tools that develop a clear path for a particular city, county, state or region to optimize their energy mix and efficiency efforts.
Specific Projects that harness the energy/efficiency opportunities residing in municipal assets, campuses, planned developments, and other institutional and industrial settings. Includes projects at the planning, build or operating stages, and could address aspects of designing, building, financing, owning and operating.
Technology Reviews: Overviews or in-depth case studies on design & operations of particular approaches to renewable distributed generation, district systems, micro-grids, alternative transportation
Sessions will provide a view into approaches that are working and challenges to be overcome, and create discussions that engage the audience--no talking head panels here. Come get new ideas, lessons learned, and how to move to action, with practical and progressive advice from innovators.
